CJ Pony Parts Scholarship Video Contest
Award: $500

Who qualifies: U.S. residents enrolling in postsecondary education in the next semester at a school in the United States. All fields of study are welcome—you do not need to study automotive technology.

Who qualifies: Currently enrolled, full-time undergraduate students at accredited U.S. colleges or universities who are legal U.S. residents or hold valid U.S. student visas. High school students entering college and graduate students are not eligible.
How to apply: Complete the online application and submit a 500–1,000-word essay responding to the sponsor’s 2026 prompt about why retirement counselors have increased recommended physical precious-metal holdings in retirement portfolios.

Citizens Scholarship Sweepstakes
Awards: $2,500 monthly prize; $15,000 grand prize
Upcoming monthly entry deadlines: October 31, November 30, and December 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET
Overall sweepstakes closes: March 31, 2027, at 5 p.m. ET
Who qualifies: Eligible legal residents of the U.S., D.C., and U.S. territories, age 18 or older, who are current or prospective college students—or their parents/legal guardians. Students must be enrolled at least half-time or intend to enroll at an accredited undergraduate or graduate institution within one year of winning.
How to enter: Complete the online entry form. No essay or purchase is required. One entry per person/email address per month is allowed; nonwinning entries roll forward.
Know the difference: This is a random drawing. Winning is based on chance, and the $45,000 advertised is the total annual prize pool—not one student’s award.

Burger King Scholars Program — Opening October 15
Awards: $1,000–$60,000
Applications open: October 15, 2026

Voice of Democracy Scholarship
Award: $35,000 national first prize; additional national scholarships up to $21,000. Each state/Department first-place winner receives at least $1,000.
Deadline: October 31, 2026, by midnight
Who qualifies: Eligible students in grades 9–12 attending public, private, parochial, or home-school programs. The rules also cover certain overseas students and include residency and age restrictions; review the full entry form.
How to apply: Write an original essay on the 2026–27 theme, “What a Veteran Taught Me About America.” Record a 3–5-minute audio version in your own voice, in English, and submit the MP3 recording, typed essay, and completed entry form to a participating local VFW Post. No video, music, or sound effects are allowed.

1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship
Award: $2,000 to one winner each month

Who qualifies: U.S. residents age 18 or older who plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in a college degree program.
How to apply: Complete the entry form and respond to the current writing prompt in 500 words or fewer. Confirm the prompt in the official entry form before writing. Entries must be original and cannot include AI-generated writing. No purchase is necessary; posting on social media is optional.

Award: $40,000 over four years ($10,000 per year)
Application deadline: December 1, 2026, for the 2027 competition
Supporting documents deadline: December 15, 2026
Who qualifies: Black/African American high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, community service, and financial need. Current college students are not eligible.
How to apply: Complete the online application, including three essays of approximately 500 words each. Arrange for your transcript and two recommendation letters to be submitted electronically. At least one recommendation must come from a high school counselor, teacher, or principal; the other may come from an eligible nonfamily reference who knows you well.
PSG2C tip: Submit your application early enough to give your references time to provide supporting documents. Funding supports attendance at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university in any academic discipline.
